Violet is loved

All I got to say is that our kitty "Violet" is very loved in this house! It's the first thing that Maya looks for when she wakes up from her nap and this picture is of the kids right after both of them woke up from their naps. So sweet! Violet has also found new toys to play with....Calvin's stars and planets above his teepee. The cat loves to bat at it and then I get to spend time untangling the mess!



Maya is such a character and so entertaining! This picture is taken while she sat on a step stool for about 15 minutes all by herself. We were all in the other room and she just sat there starring into space. Every once in a while she would interact with us, but she was definitely in her own little world. Hilarious!


Johnny placed his glasses on Maya and she actually kept them on (although they are too big and they kept falling off).


Oh, and here are just a couple pictures of the kids feet....Maya in her cute pink sweats and Calvin in his "work pants" playing with a rope (such a boy).



Has anyone had LYCHEES? Johnny found fresh ones at Reasor's the other day and brought them home for us. YUM YUM YUM! We both grew up with this fruit and LOVE it and have not found it fresh in a grocery store before!


Oh, and my mom is here visiting us right now. We are having lots of fun! I will post pictures from that later...
