Birds, Remodeling, Drawing, Reading and ....

I don't have many words for this post, but lots of pictures to look at instead. I am just too pooped out to write about much! This has been a very busy last week. Hopefully, this week will be a little slower paced and not quite as exhausting.

First of all, another fun thing that was passed down through family to Calvin (from his great grandpa...John Calvin Taylor VI... and aunt) was a pair of wooden birds. Johnny used carry these birds around with him like stuffed animals when he was little and now Calvin gets to play with them. He absolutely LOVES these birds. His aunt repainted them and they look beautiful! So, here are some pictures of the "birds".

We (pretty much Johnny) has been working on our bedroom. We are trying to get it all ready before Maya comes, since she will be in our room until she outgrows her moses basket. So, Johnny has been working hard for a full week on our walls and ceiling. The walls had uneven texture all over them, so Johnny mudded and sanded multiples times, and our ceiling had popcorn texture that Johnny removed, mudded, and then sanded as well. We started last Saturday and finally finished this Saturday. It is SO NICE to have our bed back in our room and to be able to start moving back in a little more. The walls and ceiling look amazing! Johnny did such a wonderful job!

And may I add ... here is a good picture of my sexy husband..nice bod my love!

Here are the boys eating at their table ;)

These are of Calvin and Taylor playing the piano at Ama and Babas hosue.

Calvin got his very own art easel. He LOVES to draw on it, but it has become more of a supervised thing since he also LOVES to draw on the wall next to it!

This is of Johnny reading to Calvin before bedtime. I thought it was so cute how Calvin was laying on top of him. Such a sweet moment!
