The storm is gone and the electricity is finally back on. Our neighbors, Olive and Adam, have been keeping us posted everyday, while we have been staying at Johnny's parents house. Olof and Adam bought a generator, so they have been able to stay in their home. We decided to stay at Johnny's parents house because they have a fireplace. Luckily, they got their electrticity back on Thursday, so for the last few days we have been able to enjoy the things that make life so much easier and more comfortable. Anyways, Olof text messaged me at 12:30 this morning and told me that our electricity came back on. Yeah! It has been a challenge living out of our bags and at another house when you have a baby and are used to your own routines at home. What a challenge and yet another thing that has tested my patience. Anyways, we are all doing well and are very excited to move back into our house this evening!

You will see some pictures of the ice storm and the time we have spent at the Taylors. Six of the pictures are all taken at our house, including the frozen peppers. The picture with the two magnolia trees is of the house across the street from us. All of these ice pictures were taken at the beginning of the storm, so there was still more damage that was done. Once the storm had passed it looked like a cold tornado came through all of Tulsa. Trees were everywhere blocking roads, on top of houses, and on the powerlines. It was such a mess. Unfortunately, we did not take any pictures of that or of the utility workers that came from other states to help out. The rest of the pictures are taken at Johnny's parents house. The first one of Calvin was when we were all bundled up next to the fire trying to stay warm. The other two were after the electricity came on and Calvin got to wear his new pajamas.
